CVFR Long Range Recce Patrol (The Pioneer Crew) is a special unit of the Canadian Veteran Freedom Riders. All other CVFR units are fixed to a single geographic area (CVFR Ottawa and CVFR Kingston for example). Their members come from that geographic area.

The Pioneer Crew is different. We are not tied to a single geographic location but are free to recruit and ride anywhere there are riders. The Pioneer Crew was created, by CVFR National, to provide a home for remote riders where there is no conventional CVFR unit or for riders who move a lot and are not expected to be in a single place for too long.
